For example, a developer came to us wondering why his planning application had been refused, when he had spent so much time and money trying to get it right first time. We quickly discovered that his planning consultant had decided to prepare the transport report himself to save time; telling the client how simple it would be... 

 

We pointed out to the client his consultant had overlooked the public right of way that traversed part of the site and had failed to mention the proximity to a local special needs school that meant tightly restricted hours for site vehicle operations. We prepared a report which addressed the right of way issue by adjusting the parking layout and provided a properly prepared management plan for the construction traffic. This routed vehicles away from the school and helped reduce vehicle noise and emissions. The client received full planning permission on his next submission.
